Hospital eye replacement

10 days ago I dropped off 4 girls at AGPC doll hospital. I attached notes to each of them with a rubberband stating what needed to be fixed, and what I wanted sent back, and to please use the strings, not ties:

1. Kailey for head replacement (Haircut)
2. PM AGOT4 (full, double silver-eye)
3. Kit (The pupil of her eye turned over)
4. White bodied Molly (double silver-eye)

Today I got a Huge box with all 4 in it. Results:
1. Kailey-replaced head, sent old one back, and used strings, not plastic ties.
2. PM AGOT4-Replaced eyes only not head,strings and sent the eyes back!!!
3. Kit- Replaced whole head, no big deal she's Mattel, strings, sent back eyes.
4. White Molly- Replaced eyes only, left original head intact, sent back eyes. New eyes have black lashes, not brown ones, but I can't complain. How fun to get a box with 4 dolls in it!!!!

ps- Anyone know what to do with a bunch of eyeballs??

I'm so glad your girls are home safe and sound!
Also pleased to hear that they were able to replace only the eye.
My precious Molly's eye are looking a bit "silvery" and thought if they went all the way,that I might have to consider a whole new head..which would have been hard for me to accept.

Gosh, you are SO lucky. My dear Lindsey is STILL MIA. I am so so worried about her.She was on her way back to the hospital to be fixed back like she was prior to her "wellness check" and she is apparantly now misplaced at the hands of UPS.I am in tears over it.

did you send her with delivery confirmation? I learned the hard way with an ebay buyer, and now I use delivery confirmation for everything, except letters. It's a bit extra, but they tend to take care of things with it.
I'm sure she'll be home soon. You never know, she's probably at the hospital by now, or on her way back!

I mailed her with a prepaid shipping label from AG.
The label came directing my Lindsey to the RETURNS dept! Eeek!
I called, and they told me to modify the label to send her to the doll hospital...
I did exactly as they said.So far, she has been out for delivery once in Tennessee, and now she has shown as "Out for Delivery" in Middleton for over 30 hours... All day yesterday and all day today.No one knows where she physically is, and the doll hospital says they do not have her yet. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/wilted.gif[/img]

I am hoping to learn how to re-paint the silver eyes, maybe making purple for a project doll, and Molly's to send with her when she moves on to another home...in the distant future. If I change my mind, I'll send them to you!

In the meantime Luanne, maybe the eyes and extra head could come to good use during Halloween...I have faith in you coming up with something interesting...you are, as we all know, the creator of infamous "Madonna!" [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
